Koseki Reina is a formerly unvoiced idol from the anime franchise The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls. She is an ambitious young girl who plans to use her influence as an idol to conquer the world, referring to herself as "The Queen of Evil"! Since 2020, she has been voiced by Nagano Yuki.

Suiting her (self-proclaimed) title, Reina is a troublemaker who loves playing pranks, both on her fellow idols and the adults who work with them. She can often be seen preparing pranks in various forms: air horns, confetti bazookas, banana peels, and more!
Unfortunately for Reina (but fortunately for everyone else), her plans always seem to fall through. She may be caught by the forces of justice (the Producer and Chihiro-san), or, even worse, her evil plans may even be mistaken for kindness by her would-be victims. (In reality, she purposely avoids pranks that would hurt others, and has been known to disguise acts of kindness as pranks.)
Despite her mischievous ways, Reina enjoys the company of other idols even when she isn't plotting their downfall. She often appears embarrassed or bashful in group scenes, hinting that the Queen of Evil may in fact be a facade. She is at heart a kind girl who struggles expressing her true feelings! She has many friends among 346 Pro; sentai lover Nanjo Hikaru, hardcore gamer Miyoshi Sana, would-be princess Koga Koharu, scientist Ikebukuro Akiha, and magical girl enthusiasts Yokoyama Chika, Yoneyama Mai, and Narumiya Yume.
Reina is a natural performer who loves being the center of attention onstage. She calls her fans her henchmen, those who will help her conquer the world! Her fans call her "Reina-sama," both in-game and in real life. Since she gained a voice actress thanks to Cinderella Girls Gekijou, her popularity has steadily been rising, earning her a place in Starlight Stage event units and a merchandise collaboration with fellow troublemaker Badtz-maru!
Reina has been one of my favorite characters since I first got into Cinderella Girls, shortly after the release of Starlight Stage. I loved her mischievous aura and, as a former edgy 13-year-old myself, I found her calling herself "The Queen of Evil" adorably relatable! I find both her nasty streak and her secretly-kind heart extremely cute. Immediately, I thought, "That's my daughter!!"
I've only grown fonder of her over the years, and Gekijou surprising everyone by giving her a voice was so exciting! Nagano Yuki gives her an absolutely perfect voice (a little annoying, a LOT cute) and you can always hear her evil grin in her voice lines.
I have a complete album of Reina's Starlight Stage cards so far, both unit CDs, and a tiny collection of rubber straps. I hope that with her new voice, Reina-sama keeps getting more and more popular! My dream is for her to one day get a scale figure... or two, or three!
